My great grandfather. Rev. Matthew Hunter Fielding, was a circuit riding methodist minister. Althoughhe did not live in the Moscow community, he did preach at the Moscow Methodist Church (still standing) many times. He and his wife and one son are also buried in the church cemetery there. The Depot Museum located in old Washington park near Hope contains many old records of that old church, including names of attendees at each church meeting . However, you must ask for those records (from 1870 on) to view them, as those fragile records are not available on display to the general public.
