|Elkins' Ferry Acquisition|
Go to saveelkinsferry.com to see photos that show the land that is available for purchase that is the core piece of the Elkins' Ferry Battlefield. The Depot has been selected by the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program to begin taking donations to purchase this historic piece of property. Once the land is acquired, land development will begin to turn the Elkins' Ferry Battlefield into an attraction that should greatly boost the economic possibilities of the county. Donations can be mailed to the Depot, just be sure to mark that it is for the acquisition and development of the Elkins' Ferry Battlefield. Let's join forces and make this amazing opportunity a true possibility!
To date, of 950,000 dollars we only lack $28,800 to acquire the battlefield with August 31st as a deadline! Help us reach this attainable goal and save this hallowed ground from being lost in history!
