Subject: Moscow Village information

Mr. Edwards: This my second reply to your inquiry on the Moscow community. My only connection to Moscow is from my great grandfather, Rev. Matthew Hunter Fielding who was a minister at Moscow Methodist Church (still standing) at various times from 1870 until his death in 1888. Both he and his wife Elizabeth are buried in the old Moscow Church cemetery. Much information concerning attendance records and family histories are located at the museum at Old Washington State Park near Hope, AR. A wonderful place !! The Fielding family lived in the Harmony community not too far away. Regretfully, none of those relatives are still living, so I am at a loss to any additional information. I appreciate your input on anything you may find on Moscow community.
