Pittman Cotton Warehouse Scales

(caption - Cotton scales used by the Pittman Cotton Warehouse. Warehouse was constructed in the first decade of the 20th century as The Farmer's Union Warehouse. Leased by The Prescott Hardware 8/11/19 to make harvest after Farmer's Union went broke. Bought 12/4/19 by Prescott Hardware operated until last 24 bales shipped 1/3/69 as Pittman Cotton Warehouse. Scales gift of Prescott Hardware. Research done by Sue M. Pittman and Wally Pittman.) Cotton being loaded from this depot in 1919. 1910s
