Proof that Margaret Franklin Sherrill (b.1861) was daughter of F.E. and Jane Sherrill

Need proof that my great grandmother Margaret Franklin Sherrill born in Nevada Co in 1861 was the daughter of Francis/Finess Ewing ("F.E".in confederate records) Sherrill and Jane Williamson Sherrill. I have Jane's confederate widow"s pension app. but need actual record of some kind - census, bible, etc.that Margaret was their daughter. She said it and we all know it, but I need documentary evidence. Help!
