Obituary: ames Milton Overton “Rooster”, age 60, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born July 9, 1961 to Luther Gerald Overton and Mary Fern Glass Overton, in Prescott, Arkansas. He was a member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church. He was also active in the Nevada County Rescue Unit, as Chief of Fairhills Fire Department. He was a great man and will be greatly missed by many. He is preceded in death by his parents. Rooster is survived by four sisters, Geraldine Overton of Prescott, Mary Gail Hughes husband Robert of Prescott, Jo Nell Ward husband Kevin of Hope, Linda Kay Shore husband David of Hope; two nieces, Tiffany Delgado husband Robert of Dallas, TX, Cheryl Miller husband Roy of Prescott. Three nephews, Jay Rivenbark wife Amanda of Ohio, Nick Ward wife Anna of Hope, and Grant Kirkpatrick wife Ashley of Bentonville, Arkansas; and numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, December 23, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2:00pm Friday, December 24, 2021 at BRAZZEL/Cornish Funeral Home, with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial to follow at Caney Cemetery under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish the Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie Brazzel, Director.
