Obituary: James Larry Graham, age 80, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on April 29, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family. Larry was born on March 13, 1942 in Longview, Texas to Paul and Mary Pauline Graham. On December 23, 1960 Larry decided to share his life adventures with his soulmate, Dorothy, in which they shared an eternal love for 61 years. These two learned to never go to bed without expressing their love for on another. Larry always told Dorothy, "If I was to die today, living with you has been a hoot!" Their family expanded to include two beautiful daughters, Debra Payne and Paula Tedder (husband Leon). He was later blessed with one grandson, James "The Kid" Payne (fiance Deanna), two granddaughters, Margie "Sunshine" Akin (husband Chris) and Patricia "Dumpling" Webb (husband Jonathan), and 19 great grandchildren. Larry was well versed in all areas but his lifelong passion, besides his family, was being an over the road truck driver. During his home time you could always find Larry sitting at the dining room table with his coffee, a Louis L'Amour book, and a boxing match or a Nascar race on the tv. Larry could also be found outdoors enjoying nature by hunting, fishing, or simply visiting with anyone who would listen. If he ever 'squatted' Dorothy knew she was in for the long haul. He never met a stranger. Larry was a man of strong Christian faith. His bible was never too far away from him. He would often minister to others the love of our Savior. Larry took pride in having read the bible eight times and learning something new every time. Larry was proceeded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Pauline Graham, three brothers, Paul Graham Jr, Roger Graham, and John Graham, three sisters, Jewel Worsham, Mary Sword, and Lorine "Renie" Charles, and one son-in-law, Floyd Payne. Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday May 3, 2022, at BRAZZEL/Cornish 1196 Hwy 371 Prescott, Arkansas 71857 Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Wednesday May 4, 2022 at BRAZZEL/Cornish with Br.
