Obituary: Jackie Wayne Billingsley, age 83, of Camden, Arkansas died January 9, 2023 at the Ouachita County Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born August 11, 1939 to Arlis and Bertie Floyd Billingsley. Jackie pastored Bethel Pentecostal Church for over 40 years. He loved sharing his testimony of how the Lord changed his life. He enjoyed woodworking, carving, painting but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his son, Greg Billingsley; parents; brothers, James Billingsley and wife, Marilyn, Jerry Billingsley, Arlis “Junior” Billingsley and wife, Pat; brothers-in-law, Kenneth McKelvin, Robert Skidmore, sisters-in-law, Marchie Hutcheson and husband, R. B., Betty Russell, and husband, Don; and Dot Parr; and “close as a brother” cousin, Pete Walthall. Jackie is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Loretta; son, Shane Billingsley; daughter, Cindy Cook and husband, James all of Camden; grandsons, Caleb Billingsley and wife, Tesla of Beebe, Jonathan Billingsley of Camden, and Landon Billingsley of Jacksonsville, FL; granddaughter, Ava Billingsley of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Jonell McKelvin of Camden; sisters-in-law, Henrietta McMahan and husband, Carl “Chick” of Locust Bayou, Sharon Kay Skidmore of Humble, TX; and Donna Billingsley of Camden. He loved all of his many nieces and nephews; cousins and numerous friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel and the staff at the Ouachita County Medical Center Emergency Room for their kindness and care. The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:30 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Proctor Funeral Home. Graveside will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Bluff City Cemetery.
