Obituary: Mr. Chad Allen Jernigan, age 46 passed away Sunday December 31, 2023, in Ashdown, Arkansas. Chad was born February 3rd, 1977, to Stanley Jernigan and Lori Johnson. Chad worked hard over the years and had a laugh that was infectious to all around him. He had a big heart, and loved to take care of the ones around him. His favorite thing to do was go out and eat a big steak. He will be missed by his loved ones and everyone he made an impact on. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Jernigan, his grandparents, Lloyd and Maxine Jernigan. He is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Lori and Garold Johnson of Prescott Arkansas. His daughter and son in law, Erin and David Dixon of Little Rock Arkansas, His Granddaughter, Averie Dixon of Little Rock Arkansas, His brother and sister in law, Justin and Samantha Jernigan of Texarkana Arkansas. And his two nephews, Jacy and Easton Jernigan of Texarkana Arkansas. Visitation will be held on Friday January 5, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the Brazzel Oakcrest Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating at Snell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home.
