Steed Burials Located by Sonja Brumit (wolfmom45@netzero.com) on 2010-02-18 8:53 a.m.

I had always been curious as to when and where Love Boswell, twin to great-grandmother Frances Antoniette Boswell, as well as where my great-grandfather and his 2nd wife were buried. I knew where he died as well as his birth and death date but not where he was buried. I finally located them in Chidester Cemetery in Ouachita County by using the findagrave website. The site also has photos of some of the tombstones. My great-grandfather is not buried under his actual name but under the name L. Cordius Steed. I wonder if whoever filled out the death certificate thought his first name was "Liam" instead of Ephraim. Frances is also buried there under a double headstone with Ephraim. She is listed as "Nettie" Steed, her nickname. At least four of their children Annie Pearl, Oma, Arthur Burdis, and Adele are also buried there as well as a grandson, Roy Sexton Bell.
