Obituary: Estelle Wheelington Reaves went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2020 at her home. Estelle was born in Stamps, Arkansas on April 5th to Kermit and Ruby Wheelington. Mrs. Reaves has lived in Texarkana, Texas since 1962. She was a member of Hampton Road Church of Christ. She had a long and successful career with the Texas Department of Transportation from 1962-1989. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy G. Reaves of 40 years. She is survived by two sisters and one brother-in-law, Florine and Joe Powell, of Taylor, Arkansas; and Velta Byrd of Stamps, Arkansas; one stepdaughter, Sharlotte Reesor of Lewisville, Texas; two nieces, Kathy Buehler and Connie Rogers of Stamps, Arkansas; one nephew, Terry Vickers of Stamps, Arkansas; three special friends, Ann Speer, Bennie Estelle and Ann Smallwood, all of Texarkana, Texas and a host of friends. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the Dorcas House at the Hampton Road Church of Christ. Graveside Services will be at Union Cemetery on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Jerry Monholland officiating.
