Obituary: Mrs. Gladys Smith, age 85 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday June 29, 2022, at her home. Gladys was born on January 12, 1937, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Euell and Elsie Sellers Gaither. She was a retired teachers aide and a member of Stamps First Baptist Church. Her hobbies included. Reading, Sewing, working puzzles, baking, cooking but most of all was her love and devotion to her family and her church especially her Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jerry, Leon AND Jody Gaither, two spouses Elmer Otis (Bill) Ward and Larry Earl Smith. Survivors include: three sons: John Ward of Falcon, Arkansas, Frank Ward, Springhill, Arkansas, Chris Ward (Dana) Greenbrier, Arkansas, three daughters: Sandy Clark (Bobby) Buckner, Arkansas, Mona Ward (Mike) Roanoke, Virginia, Amanda Guardado, Humble, Texas sister: Doris McCown Stamps, Arkansas, fifteen grandchildren: Valarie Clark, Justin Clark(Robbi), Jason Clark (Britta), Ben Ward, Joel Ward(Deanna), Angela Reed (Andrew), Misty Burns (David) Hannah Ward, Jordan Ward ( Savannah), Kaitlyn Ward, Danielle Small, Hunter Egger, Heidi Ward, Logan Guardado, Emelia Guardado, twenty- three great grandchildren, numerous, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
