Obituary: Lyn Dean Morman, age 96, from Prescott, AR, passed away on September 18, 2025. She was born on January 10, 1929 in Norphlet, AR to William and Carrie Beebe. She was a retired postal worker with 32 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max Morman; one son, Gary Lynn; two sisters, Irena Hawkins and Leatha Peaks; one brother, W.C. Beebe, Jr, wife Ruth; brothers-in-law Abb Morman and Richard Morman; sisters-in-law Melva Morman, Billie Ruth Morman and Shelba Morman. Survivors include one daughter, Tami Cottingham, husband Mike; one son, Max Alan Morman, wife Wendy; five grandchildren and nine great-children; Cassie Gonzales, husband Eric and their children, Arden and Jax; Ted Morman, wife Allison and their children, Mac, Cole and Oliver, all of Prescott; Amy Krause and her children, Declan and Maggie, of Redfield, AR; Marc Morman, wife Aleca and their children, Nora and Darci, of Ashdown, AR; Marlee Morman, fiancĂ© Corbin Etris, of Tontitown, AR; one brother-in-law, Tim Morman, wife Paulette, of Prescott, AR; four nephews, Tommy Beebe, wife Lisa and their children, Kyle and Tara, of North Little Rock, AR; Mike Morman, wife Sandy, of Prescott, AR; Clark Morman, wife Patti, of Fayetteville, AR; and Russell Morman, wife Sandy of Bixby, OK; five nieces, Virginia Throgmorton and her son, Steve Hall, of Magnolia, AR; Karen Ward, of Prescott, AR; Terri McJunkins, husband Steve, of Nashville, AR; Mona Simms, husband Pat, of Bismarck, AR; and Candy Elam, husband Tim, of Texarkana, AR; and a large number of great-nephews and great-nieces. The family would like to thank St Michaels Hospital and Gentiva Hospice Unit, doctors and staff for the wonderful care that they gave. It was very appreciated during this difficult time. Visitation will be Monday, September 22, 2025 from 6-8 pm at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Service will be at 2:00 at Central Baptist Church in Prescott, AR on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, with Pastor Roy Johnson and Pastor Donnie Dillard officiating. Burial will be at Rosston Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.
