| Obituary: | Mr. Roy E. Allen, age 74 of Prescott, Arkansas, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 in Hope. Mr. Allen was born May 12, 1941 in Prescott, Arkansas to Roy and Inez Roark Allen. Mr. Allen was of the Nazarene faith. He was also a retired foreman in the wood industry. Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his father, Roy P. Allen, and his mother, Inez Roark Allen. Survivors include: his wife of 27 years, Judy Shelton, two sons; Bruce Allen of Prescott, Arkansas, Chad Allen and his wife Betsy, also of Prescott, Arkansas, one daughter, Penny Spell of Prescott, Arkansas, one sister, Nelda Allen Marlar of Houston, Texas, five grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
