Obituary: Mr. Gary Cross, age 74 of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Saturday August 3, 2019, in Hope. He was born June 23, 1945 in Humphrey, Arkansas to Grover and Ollie Roswell Cross. Gary was a retired Terminal Manager and truck driver for both Mid-Way and WTL and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran in the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Garron O’Neal Cross, six brothers, and five sisters. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Elaine Cross, a daughter, Whitney Hall of Hope, AR, two sisters, Norma Lee of Burleson, TX, Velma Medlock of Owasso, OK, five grandchildren, Bradley, Alexus, Isaiah, Kryslyn, Jazlyn, one great grandchild, Neyhlani, and numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest 1001 South Main St. Hope, Arkansas 71801. Funeral service with be 2:00pm, Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at BRAZZEL/Oakcrest Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Brown officiating. Burial to follow at Midway Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas. Arrangements are with BRAZZEL/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel Director.
