Obituary: Billy Joe Meador, age 88 of Bluff City, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was born on October 29, 1933 to the late Elmer and Goldie Meador. Preceded in death by one son, Mark Meador and two sisters, Loritta Meador Johnson (Gene) and Bonita Meador Stinnett (Terry). He is survived by his wife, Sharon Meador, two daughters, Lisa Meador Pruitt and Stacy Franks (Jonathan), one daughter-in-law, Becky Meador Cox and one son, John Lee (Delores). One sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bill Carman. He had nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends. He was a Christian and attended the Bluff City Church of Christ. He was known for his body work and building cars and trucks. He also hand-crafted musical instruments, such as fiddles and mandolins. In his teen years, he and his dad sung on a radio program in El Dorado, Arkansas; He loved music. No public visitation is planned. Graveside service is at 2:00pm on Friday January 14, at Bluff City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Christian Home or Bluff City Cemetery Association. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/Cornish The Funeral Home of Prescott, Eddie Brazzel Director.
