Obituary: | Mary Lynn Fairchild O’Hara, age 73, of Camden, Arkansas, passed away March 16th, 2025, at her home in Camden, AR. Mary was born September 1, 1951, in Camden, Arkansas, to Johnny Warren “Red” and Betty McManus Fairchild. She graduated from Fairview High School in 1969 and went on to attend business school and later became a licensed practical nurse. She worked for many years as a nurse for Dr. Larry Braden, for the Arkansas Department of Health, and as a nurse at Aerojet. Mary was a member of Cullendale First Baptist Church. Mary was married to Allen “Scott” O’Hara for 37 years before his unexpected passing in 2023. Together they raised two daughters, Angel Harris and Candy Harcrow, and were blessed to have 3 grandchildren. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, who loved all her family and friends dearly.Mary was reunited in death with her husband, Scott O’Hara; parents, J.W. and Betty Fairchild; and grandson, Preston Harris. She is survived by her brother, Gary “Butch” Fairchild and his wife, Linda of Kirby, AR; two daughters, Angel Harris and husband, Josh of Camden, AR and Candy Harcrow and husband, Scotty of Camden, AR; grandchildren, Cade Renfro, of Westville, OK, Macy Renfro of Camden, AR, and Reagan Harris of Camden, AR; and a host of family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Proctor Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 2:00PM. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 6:00PM-8:00pm. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. |
