| Obituary: | Betty Jean Stovall, age 79, passed away on November 29, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on July 20, 1946, in Bodcaw, Arkansas. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Mrs. Stovall is preceded in death by her mother, Etta Sanders; and two grandsons, Jeffrey Harding and Josh Edwards. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 44 years, Calvin Stovall; daughters, Kay Harding, Renay Brown (Perry); stepdaughter, Lori Murray (Finance Tim Ashby); granddaughters, Marissa Stathis (Peter), Madison Murray; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Jude Grigsby. The family would like to say Thank You to the Retreat at Kenwood Staff and Chambers Hospice for all their love and care. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow immediately at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Nick Flowers officiating. Burial will be at Bodcaw #1 Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home. |
