| Obituary: | Sarah Lavonne Badeaux Dickey, age 65, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at her home. She was born on April 20, 1958, in Gurdon, the daughter of the late T. A. and Melba Creech Badeaux. Sarah worked as a hair stylist for over twenty years. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Sarah enjoyed singing, fishing, and playing with her grandbabies and great grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Howard Maurice Dickey, and three brothers, Denny, David, and Daniel Badeaux. Sarah is survived by two sons, Joey Fisher of Arkadelphia and Masion Hobbs of Gurdon, one daughter, Victoria Powell of Arkadelphia, two brothers, Douglas Badeaux of Spokane, WA, and Don Badeaux of Lavaca, AR, four sisters, Ann Baumgardner of Gurdon, Judy Lowrance (TR) of Cedarville, AR, Faye Scott of Hot Springs, and Teresa Higginbotham (Doug) of Friendship, four grandchildren, Marissa Ellis of Gurdon, Ciarah Scott of Arkadelphia, Denny Powell of Gurdon and Melanie Sanders, Ten great grandchildren, Maddie Fries, Braxton Williams, Emma Ellis, Weston Ellis, Jordan Brewer, Paris’Kay Brewer, Mariah Banks, Ca’Mariyah Banks, Temperance Powell and Anna Sanders. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday June 27, 2023, at Bluff City Cemetery |
